The prostate,
which is the shape and size of a walnut,
functions as a filter to protect sperm from
parental toxins. Men's emotions, judgments,
disappointments, feelings of guilt, anger,
sexual inadequacy, hates, and stresses are all
stored in the prostate and its surrounding
tissues, thereby restricting blood flow and
oxygen. With the high level of toxicity present
in our urban environment, the prostate seems to
be the most vulnerable male organ, resulting in
a high percentage of enlarged and cancerous
prostates.
Prostate infections, also known as prostatitis,
are fairly common in men from their teen years
on. While the causes of prostatitis are not well
defined or understood, the condition can be
helped by simply pushing on the prostate to
cause the blockages to break up and be flushed
out. The body may heal itself as fresh blood and
oxygen flow into the prostate. Repetitive
drainage used as a front line management in
prostatitis yields promising results. It is
especially effective in conjunction with your
Doctor's antibiotic therapy.
Acute prostatitis
develops suddenly and is generally caused by a
bacterial infection of the prostate brought on
by e coli, certain sexually transmitted diseases
or sexual contact with an infected person, a
urinary tract infection, urethritis,
epididymitis, urethral instrumentation, trauma,
bladder outlet obstruction, or an infection
elsewhere in the body. Acute prostatitis is more
common in men aged 20-35, men with multiple sex
partners and men who engage in high-risk sexual
behaviors.
Increasingly, men today suffering from
prostatitis are seeking help instead of
suffering quietly. It is estimated that half of
all men have benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH)
by the age of 60 and 90% will experience it by
age 85. |
